School Parking Enforcement – Stanhope Road & Cotelands |

On Tuesday, officers from the Park Hill & Whitgift Neighbourhood Team conducted patrols on Stanhope Road and Cotelands Road following ongoing concerns regarding dangerous parking during school drop-off and collection times.
During the patrol, PC Pike and PC Nawol engaged with a number of motorists who had parked in positions causing obstruction and posing a danger to other road users and pedestrians. As a result, officers issued three Traffic Offence Reports (TORs) for leaving a vehicle in a dangerous position.
The team is aware of concerns raised by both local residents and the school regarding parking practices in the area. Poorly parked vehicles can significantly reduce visibility for drivers and pedestrians, creating unnecessary risks, particularly for children travelling to and from school.
The Park Hill & Whitgift Neighbourhood Team will continue to monitor the area and take appropriate enforcement action where necessary. We would like to remind all motorists to park safely, legally and considerately to help keep children, parents and residents safe.
